The Business System Analyst role will be responsible for understanding client’s needs in order to define project requirements. You will be responsible for working with project management to ensure projects are completed according to the client’s requests. Tasks include leading discovery sessions, writing detailed requirement documents and much more!

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Learn and gain an understanding of client’s entire workflow process utilizing expertise
  • Lead requirement gathering and discovery phases
  • Write requirements and create documents in easily consumable format for technical and non-technical resources
  • Provide recommendations for improvement based on a thorough review of business requirements, experience, and best practices
  • Work closely with project managers, developers and technical leads to ensure project success
  • Client training that includes a live Q&A session, empowering client to manage the instance post go-live
  • Define client’s KPIs and metrics and play a key role in functionally testing the solution to ensure these are met
  • Work with Company Leaders to identify new sales opportunities

What will help you succeed:

  • Bachelor’s degree or industry equivalent
  • 3+ years of Business System Analyst/Project Management/Technical Lead experience
  • Experience with Waterfall and Agile methodologies
  • Proven track record of being able to learn and adapt to a complex environment with multiple dependencies and niche processes
  • Experience with being part of medium to large projects with formal methodologies for project and/or sprint plans
  • Ability to identify expansion opportunities
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical users, and translate feedback from non-technical users into actionable configuration items
  • Ability to prioritize user requests effectively and manage user expectations
  • Ability to multi-task
