Tell Us More!
Can you start with a brief intro about yourself?
I am a 40-year-old Brazilian who has lived in Argentina for about 30 years. I’m married, no children, and have spent about 19 years working in different areas of systems.
What do you do here at 729?
I am a Senior Developer and Technical Lead. I’m working primarily in technologies related to .Net, though, 729 has given me the opportunity to learn other technologies such as Ruby and Node js.
Tell me about what you do outside of work. What is your favorite pastime?
When I have time outside of work, I usually play games, I am a PS4 user.
Do you enjoy traveling? Tell me about your last trip and your dream vacation.
I didn’t use to be interested in traveling, but Kary loves traveling – so little by little I have learned to enjoy it. I usually try to make a trip to the mountains in the winter or to the beach in the summer. Last year I was fortunate to be able to take a cruise, that was a dream come true!
Do you enjoy cooking?
Yes, I actually enjoy cooking. I moved out and lived alone at age 19, so learning to cook at that time was about survival. But to my amazement, I discovered that I really enjoy cooking. I am far from being a chef but I defend my cooking skills!
What is your favorite thing to cook or eat?
Meat in any type and format. No fish – I don’t eat anything that breathes water.
Where is your favorite place to eat out in the city you live in?
In Argentina, soccer and “Asado” (barbecue) are national affairs! Obviously, my favorite restaurant is a “Parrilla” (Grill) near my house. If you want a recommendation, try “Entraña” when you go there.
Anything else you want to tell the world about yourself or working at 729?
I am very lucky to be part of the 729 family. It is very entertaining to work here! Quoting the famous movie: “729 is like a box of chocolates, you never know what your next project will be!”
